Auction rules

Version auction-rules@2026-01. These rules are binding on creators and bidders.

Eligibility

  • Bidders must be a verified organization with a work email on their own company domain.
  • The creator must approve the organization for that specific auction before it can bid.
  • Creators may not bid on their own auctions, directly or through an affiliated company.

Valid bids

  • A bid must be in the auction currency and at or above the published minimum next bid.
  • Bids are appended and immutable. They cannot be edited, retracted or hidden.
  • Every bid passes bot verification; failed verification means the bid is not recorded.

Anti-sniping

A valid bid placed within the final two minutes extends the auction so that at least two minutes remain. Extensions repeat as long as bidding continues, up to the published extension cap.

Closing and winner confirmation

When the clock stops, the highest valid bid becomes the provisional winner and has a limited confirmation window to accept. If they decline or the window expires, the slot is offered to the next highest bidder at their own bid amount, and so on down the list.

No valid bids

If no valid bid at or above the starting bid was placed, the auction closes with no winner. Nothing is owed by anyone.

Cancellation and disputes

A creator may cancel before the auction goes live. After a winner confirms, cancellation is a breach and may result in removal from the platform. Disputes are settled between the parties; OneSlot may publish the outcome state of the auction.
